Q1:
Who can participate?
OPPO, OnePlus and realme users worldwide aged 18 or above (or the legal age in your region) with full civil capacity can enter.
The competition is unavailable in Germany. Due to legal restrictions, the competition is unable to accept entries from Sudan, North Korea, Syria, Iran, Cuba, the Crimea region, or any other countries/regions which may be subject to export controls or sanctions at the time of the competition. Also, we don't accpet entries from The United States.

What are the differences between Main Competition and Monthly Contest?
The OPPO Photography Awards 2026 consists of two tracks, the main competition and monthly contest.

Main Competition:
is a global competition with 6 categories, open for submissions from April 21, 2026 to December 31, 2026 (UTC+8). Final winners will be selected by international expert juries.

Monthly Contest:
Each monthly contest will last 1-2 months with one theme and the winners will be selected by the organising committee. For specific schedule details, please refer to the official website and official social media accounts for updates.
*Monthly contest entries are automatically entered into the Main Competition. You do NOT need to submit twice.

How can I participate?

Submit via the official website of the OPPO Photography Awards.
For Monthly Contest:Submit via the official website of the OPPO Photography Awards.Post your entry on social media (Instagram, TikTok) with its title, #ShotonOPPO and the designated monthly theme hashtag.Submit your entry by commenting on the designated thread in OPPO Community.*Social media posts must be public during the OPPO Photography Awards 2026 period. Your account must accept messages from strangers, as the organising committee will contact you for more details about your entry. Organising Committee members may reach out to you via direct message from dedicated coordination accounts. To ensure your security, we will never ask for your password or direct payment. All sensitive data should only be submitted via our official secure channels.

Which photos are eligible?
Original photos taken with OPPO/OnePlus/realme phones with full EXIF data. Light edits (brightness, contrast, etc.) on the phone are allowed. Composite images, edits using desktop software such as Photoshop or Lightroom, and AI‑generated or AI‑altered content are not accepted.
Q5:
Which videos are eligible?
Video duration: 15s – 10 mins.
Original footage must be shot on OPPO, OnePlus or realme phones with full data, and must not be edited or processed with AI. If your entry is shortlisted, we will require you to submit the original footage for review by the organising committee. Please keep all original files.
Q6:
What kind of entries are prohibited?
Entries that have been published or posted in other photography competitions (including past and regional contests organized by OPPO/OnePlus/realme) or public media for profit, or photos that have won awards in other competitions are not eligible.
Q7:
How many entries can I submit?
You can submit up to 20 entries per category, with a total of six categories.
Each photo entry may include 1–9 photos, but each SUPER LIVE or SUPER VIDEO entry consists of only one file.

What if my video entry fails to upload?
If your video entry cannot be uploaded successfully or has slow upload speeds, please try submitting it via a public link or post on your social media with #SuperVideo and #ShotonOPPO account.

What criteria are used to select the winning entries?
OPPO Photography Awards 2026 presents the following awards: Gold Award, Silver Award, Bronze Award, Honorable Mention for each category, Regional Award, and Audience's Choice.

All awards except the Regional Award and Audience's Choice follow the same evaluation criteria: after the submission deadline, the organising committee and preliminary judges will select entries for the final round. The expert juries will then evaluate and determine the winners of these awards.
Regional Award
The organising committee will select 2 winners for each of the 5 regions, determined by the participant's selected region at submission.
*Regional Award are divided into five regions:
Africa & Middle East (Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Morocco, Nigeria, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia, UAE);
Europe (Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Moldova, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Türkiye, Ukraine, United Kingdom);
Asia Pacific (Australia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Vietnam);
Latin America (Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Central America & Caribbean, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina);
India.

Audience's Choice
Voted by global users on the official website voting page. The 4 entries with the highest votes will be awarded.*Finalists for the Regional Award and Audience's Choice are only selected from entries submitted between April 2026 and mid-October 2026. The exact end date of this period is subject to the submission deadline of the October Monthly Contest. Entries submitted outside this period are not eligible for these two awards.
Q10:
How do I receive my prize money or physical prize if I win?
If you win, we'll reach out by phone or email, and you'll need to provide your shipping address, bank details, and other necessary information.
Prize Money
Only paid to the winner's personal account in USD. Payments to any third-party or designated account are not accepted. All prize money is pre-tax, you are responsible for all applicable taxes under local laws.
Physical Prize
If the physical prize is not available for sale locally, it will be converted to USD based on its official retail price in mainland China and paid together with your prize money.

Do I retain the copyright of any submitted entry?
The copyright of any submitted entry will be retained by its original author. The original author must legally hold full copyright to this entry, with no existing disputes or related issues.

By submitting your entry, you grant OPPO Photography Awards and its affiliates the right to use, display and edit your entry globally for awards-related activities and promotional purposes, online and offline. The organising committee may use these entries for related purposes without further consent.

How will my personal data be handled?
To facilitate entry review, winner notification, and prize distribution, the Organising Committee will collect and process your entry details (including original photos/videos and EXIF data) , contact information (email, phone number, and social media handle), as well as shipping address, bank details, and other necessary information for prize fulfillment.

For entries submitted via social media, the Organising Committee will contact you via Direct Message to request the necessary original files and contact details for verification. By participating, you agree to provide this information for the purposes of the competition.

All personal data will be processed in accordance with our [Privacy Policy]. We are committed to protecting your privacy and will not use your information for unrelated marketing purposes without your explicit consent. Payments and prize fulfillment will only be processed after verifying your identity through official channels.
